Acrylic and pastel on paper

A relative new comer to acrylic paint, the fact that the painter needed to work quickly has presented initial problems to someone who had always used oil paint. Early problems have now been overcome and work produced on coloured, printed backgrounds allow the loosely painted subject to be held together by the ground on which it is painted. Detail added when the paint is dry is invariably added using oil pastels.
